For Halloween weekend, I flew up to the Bay Area to celebrate my girly's birthday and of course - partake in all the
costumed debauchery in San Francisco! Interesting get-ups were rampant, as was the lack of available taxi cabs, but we made our way to
Bourbon & Branch, a speakeasy bar with an atmosphere that completely transported me back in time to the days of prohibition. I sipped on a gin-based cocktail with hints of citrus and lemon that was so strong, but good!
Lime, in the Castro, was a clear winner for
birthday bubbly and tapas. This place is always amazing.
{I've talked about Lime before in this post}. We capped the night at
Madrone, a quirky art bar close to our friend's apartment, for more drinks and people-watching! It was a great weekend, and I loved dressing up as a dutch girl!
